  8. AUSTIN, Texas, December 15, 1994 - Offered originally in its beta
  9. phase for users of NEXTSTEP on the Hewlett-Packard PA-RISC, Pencom is
  10. pleased to announce that the final release of co-Xist 3.3 is now
  11. shipping.

  13. A price increase had been scheduled to take effect with the final
  14. release of co-Xist 3.3.  However, in response to many customers with
  15. budgets remaining for 1994, pre-release pricing has been extended
  16. until the end of the year.

  18. co-Xist is Pencom's market leading implementation of the industry
  19. standard X11R5 windowing system.  With co-Xist, NEXTSTEP users have
  20. access to the hundreds of X-based UNIX applications.  Within the
  21. corporate computing environment, NEXTSTEP users can run any legacy or
  22. custom-developed, X-based software already used within an
  23. organization.  A complete development environment also allows the
  24. porting of X clients to the native NEXTSTEP processor.

  44.   eliminating the need for running scripts in the installation process.

  46. - A collection of public domain X-based applications are included,
  47.   pre-compiled for all architectures in binary and source formats.
